An interpretation of old and new. This home design blends timeless materials like natural stone and curving precast details with contemporary accents such as steel-framed windows. To maximize the views, we designed a transparent foyer to great room relationship with large expanses of glass, yet a subtle entry facade massing. With idyllic views of the year round Wisconsin seasons and landscape, this new home commands elevated views seldom seen in the Madison suburbs. The site is grand and mature (including its own site walking path to a fire pit destination), with much effort being placed on proper siting. Much of this view is about the engaging pool deck and adjacent screened porch. A space that can extend the use of the outdoors deep into the cooler seasons.
